Who We Are…

Purpose:

The MHS Boys Soccer Booster Club is a not for profit 501(c)3 organization that exists to support our teams:

  1. Financially, through fundraising and concessions.

  2. Socially, by attending games and promoting them throughout the community.

Officers:

The following positions are officers of the club and serve a one-year term.  Any officer can serve longer if no one else seeks that position. 

President

  • Lead Booster Club meetings

  • Schedule preseason meeting with the coach to discuss financial needs of the team

  • Coordinate fundraising events as voted upon by the club

  • Master of Ceremonies at the post season banquet

  • Notify secretary of booster meeting agenda

Vice President and Assistant Vice President

  • Assist the President as necessary

  • Perform duties of the President in his or her absence

  • Perform duties of the Secretary in his or her absence

  • Manage the ticket and concessions volunteers

  • Manage the post season banquet process

Secretary

  • Take minutes at all Booster Club meetings

  • Review and make available minutes at future meetings and at parent’s request

  • Maintain a list of Booster Club members

  • Prepare agenda for meetings and schedule the meeting place

  • Notify members of meetings

Treasurer

  • Receive and be responsible for monies belonging to the Booster Club

  • Keep accurate records of the Booster Club’s finances

  • Provide a financial report at each general meeting

  • Sign checks and pay bills as authorized by the board of directors

  • The President and Treasurer shall have check signing privileges

  • Review and submit proper 501c3 annual forms
